Partying in Tokyo Day 2・東京でパーティ第２話

皆さん、こんにちは！
So, the Tokyo Shenanigans continue! Bee and I didn't actually sleep yesterday. But, how could we with so much going on! We did Karaoke until about am and went back to Su's place. On the way back, we started dancing in the middle of the street because why not! Kpop, Soran Bushi, you name it! I'm sure we were being pretty obnoxious, but we had a good time.
東京のアドベンチャーの続きです！私とビーちゃんは夕べあまり寝ませんでした。やりたいことが山ほど沢山あったので、寝るわけにはいかなかったのです！朝までカラオケして、スー君のアパートに帰りました！帰りの道中では、K-popやよさこいソーランなど、いろいろなダンスを踊り始めました。スー君の家の周りのご近所さんに迷惑をかけたかもしれませんが、めっちゃ楽しかったです！
We rested our eyes for about 2~3 hours once we finally got back. The plan for today was to visit two shrines, then meet my college bestie, Big T, in Shibuya to see a concert. The first shrine on our list was Asakusa Shrine. We took a train to that area first thing in the morning. Once we got off the train, we had no idea where to go, so we asked for directions. We were told that at the end of the road, we would find a shrine and that Asakusa would be on the other side.
家へ戻り、２～３時間ぐらいしか寝ませんでした。その日の予定は、２つの有名な神社へ参拝しに行き、大学時代の友達、ビッグ・ティと渋谷で待ち合わせして、コンサートに行くことでした。一つ目は浅草神社に行く計画でした。朝早く、電車に乗って、行きました。やっと電車から降りたら、すぐ道に迷ってしまったので、浅草神社までの道順を尋ねました。「この道の突き当たりに神社があります。浅草神社はその神社の向かい側にございます。」と教えてくれました。
Lack of sleep and food or being hungover, or honestly both had us pretty discombobulated, so we forgot that key piece of information and explored the first shrine that we saw, thinking it was Asakusa. It was not. We didn't even realize that we went to the wrong shrine until after we had gotten all the way back to Akihabara to change trains. While tagging pictures on Instagram, I noticed that the location that popped up was Sensou-ji rather than Asakusa jinja. That was when the light bulb clicked. When I told Bee, she and I both started laughing and agreed that's why people shouldn't travel while tired.
眠たかったせいか、二日酔いのせいか、まだ朝ごはんを食べてなかったせいか、その大事な情報をうっかり忘れていました。浅草神社と思いながら、その突き当たりの神社を周りました。でも、まったく違う神社でした！電車に乗って、秋葉原で乗り換えながら、気づいてしまいました。インスタグラムでその神社の写真の位置を投稿した時、「浅草神社」ではなく、「浅草寺」が出てきました！突然ひらめき、すぐビーちゃんに言って、爆笑しました。疲れている時は本当に旅行をしないべき。笑
The next place on our list was Yasukuni Shrine. Bee told me that it was quite controversial because it's a shrine for the soldiers who died in WWII. The feeling there was very different from Sensouji, which was full of tourists. It was very quiet. We went through the shrine and paid our respects, then checked out the history museum connected to it.
次は靖国神社へ行く計画でした。ビーちゃんによると、結構論争的な神社です。第二次世界大戦に戦った日本兵士のための神社です。観光客が沢山いた浅草寺とは違って、とても静かでした。神社を周って、日本兵士に手を合わしました。その後、神社にあった博物館に寄りました。
Once we finished at the museum, we began to head back to Shibuya to meet Big T near the statue of Hachiko. On the way there, my phone died. Go figure. We met up with Big T and went straight to the venue. The concert was sponsored by Red Bull. We got free drink tickets and used them to get Redbull cocktails. The venue had 4 stages with for four very different genres of music! Including Kyari-pamyu-pamyu (The woman who sings "Pon Pon!"). It was awesome!! We had a great time jamming to all the music and running through the crowd each time the performers changed. It was Big T's first concert, so I know he had a ball too!
博物館を出たら、渋谷へ戻り、ハチ公の像の前でビッグ・ティと待ち合わせしました。途中で私の携帯の電池が切れてしまいました。予想通りです。ビッグ・ティと集合したら、コンサート・ホールへ向かいました。そのコンサートは、レッドブルがスポンサーでした。入ったら、無料ドリンク・チケットをもらい、それを使ってレッドブル・カクテールを買いました。コンサートは、４箇所にステージがあり、各場所に違う歌手が、違うジャンルの曲を歌いました。きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ（「ぽんぽん」という曲を歌う女性）を含めて、４つの歌手とバンドがパフォーマンスをしました。めちゃくちゃ楽しかったです！メインのステージが変わるたび、皆が次のステージへ全力ダッシュして、踊って、最高でした！それに、ビッグ・ティ初めてのコンサートだったので、彼もきっと楽しんだと思います。
After the concert, we ate dinner at Gon Pachi, a restaurant inspired by the movie, Kill Bill. Then we went back to Shibuya to do Purikura and played games at an arcade! It was a crazy night! We had such a great time! Big T said that Bee and I were Gals!! So, I guess we got to be Shibuya Gals for a night!
コンサートの後、「キル・ビル」という洋画に登場する「ごんぱち」というレストランへ行きました。食べ終わったら、渋谷に戻り、ゲーセンでプリクラを撮ったり、ゲームをしました。めっちゃクレイジーな夜でした！楽しすぎてたまらなかったです。ビッグ・ティが「アンバーとビーちゃんがギャルだね」と言ってくれました！一夜だけ、私とビーちゃんが渋谷ギャルになりました！
My "Gal" pal and I ended up going to a gay bar with Su, who was hosting us, at the end of the night. That was also quite interesting in its own way. We were so dead in the morning though. Our bus back to Kansai left at 8am, so we hobbled out of bed and onto the train to get to Shinjuku. We bought breakfast and last minute omiyage (souvenirs), then passed out on the bus ride back!
夕方、ギャルの私とビーちゃんは、アパートに泊まらせてくれたスー君と一緒にゲイ・バーへ行きました。それもそれなりに面白かったです。次の朝はかなりしんどかったです。関西までのバスは朝８時出発だったので、だらだらよろよろベッドから起きて、準備してアパートを出て、新宿駅へ行きました。バスを待っている間に、バタバタしながらお土産を買って、朝ごはんを買いました。バスに乗ったら、すぐ眠りに入り、、大阪に到着までずっと寝てしまいました！
We had such a great time! Of course, my partner in crime and I have to come back to catch everything we didn't see this time though. :)
ものすごく楽しい時間を過ごしました！もちろん親友のビーちゃんと東京に戻って、今回やらなかったことを全部やらなきゃいけません！
